Listen to the wind whisper
Hear the voices of cries beyond
See the skies, the stirs of thunder
The shattered dreams of a dying day
Destruction, desecration, oh how the mighty fall
Alone in our desolation, no longer we stand tall
The storm is upon us, but we cannot run and hide
Fate will control us, we'll be swept away with the tide of life
As the night falls, consumed by silence
Blissful ignorance has lost its sheen
We're left to face the world's defiance
The time has come when we'll be undone
Destruction, desecration, oh how the mighty fall
Alone in our desolation, no longer we stand tall
The storm is upon us, but we cannot run and hide
Fate will control us, we'll be swept away with the tide of life
Time continues on, but our faults remain
In the end, how far have we truly come?
In the fight for freedom, are our hopes in vain?
The darkest night of the brightest day
A truth we're so afraid to say
Destruction, desecration, oh how the mighty fall
Alone in our desolation, no longer we stand tall
The storm is upon us, but we cannot run and hide
Fate will control us, we'll be swept away by the tide of life

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue

Metamorphosis takes the musical artistry of this band to another level. It's not progressive,it's daring, as each musician in the band tries things they didn't try before. Obviously with Jelena adding death growls to her repertoire, but also with every song being it's own little universe but still fitting the concept of the album. This here is something you've probably never heard before. Oh, and I just can't pick a favorite song, because that changes everytime I listen to this great album. wormys_queue

As I’ve matured I have learned to appreciate power metal. The sheer symphonic showmanship of the tracks I heard is totally off the charts. WaitingfortheTurningPoint
