The riots in the streets, the shouts of disbelief
The march of the outsiders who will no more keep the peace
Like cogs in the machine, slaves to widespread greed
Wealth the measure of your worth
In the profit-generated dream we’re in
Don’t you try to think, don’t you try to feel
And they’re one of us
And they will not control us, each life is worth the same
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day
And they’re one of us
Someday they’ll have to join us in their personal hell
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day
Survival of the fittest, the strong defeat the weak
In this animal kingdom, cursed are the meek
If you’re trapped in your misfortune, you’re entirely to blame
Though we make the thieves then punish them
It’s your own fault for losing at the game
Don’t you try to think, don’t you try to feel
And they’re one of us
And they will not control us, each life is worth the same
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day
And they’re one of us
Someday they’ll have to join us in their personal hell
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day
So out of touch, judging too much with ill-informed minds
Dictating lives of those who depend on benefactors wise
The hands that feed all those in need corrupted by greed
The celebrated crimes of our time
Injustice transparent to those who see
And they’re one of us
And they will not control us, each life is worth the same
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day
And they’re one of us
Someday they’ll have to join us in their personal hell
So don’t be afraid, after the night comes the day

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue

Metamorphosis takes the musical artistry of this band to another level. It's not progressive,it's daring, as each musician in the band tries things they didn't try before. Obviously with Jelena adding death growls to her repertoire, but also with every song being it's own little universe but still fitting the concept of the album. This here is something you've probably never heard before. Oh, and I just can't pick a favorite song, because that changes everytime I listen to this great album. wormys_queue

As I’ve matured I have learned to appreciate power metal. The sheer symphonic showmanship of the tracks I heard is totally off the charts. WaitingfortheTurningPoint
